Best Screen Capture Tools

January 12, 2010  /  Lifestyle

While that little button marked “PRTSC” on the upper-right-hand-corner of a computer keyboard may seem like the best way to capture the information on a computer screen, there are a number of other tools which provide similar – but more functional – support. A number of cross-platform and single-platform tools are available, with some of the best being:

  1. Evernote. This multi-platform tool runs on Windows, Mac, iPhone, Windows Mobile, and websites.
  2. WebKut. Developed with Adobe Air, this is another great tool for capturing screen information.
  3. Screenshot Captor. Run your screen capture from a USB thumbdrive!

There are literally dozens (if not hundreds) of screen capture tools out there, and many are free to download. The folks over at www.hongkiat.com have pulled together a list of their favorites.
